Roundtable Submissions for 2012 AHP Regional Conferences 

Thank you for your interest in submitting a roundtable proposal for one of the AHP Regional conferences in the spring of 2012.

Deadline for proposals is Wednesday, February 1, 2012.

Roundtables are:

• An excellent way for a small group of members to have an in-depth discussion on a particular topic.
• An opportunity for you to take part in the educational mission of AHP.
• A forum for you to facilitate a discussion with conference attendees.

Roundtable format:

• Typically there are nine conference attendees and one facilitator per discussion group. Conference attendees sign up for roundtables at the conference.
• Forty-five to sixty minute discussion about a development-related topic.
• The facilitator opens the roundtable session with a short (5-minute) introduction to the topic and then leads the group in discussion.

Confirmation of roundtable:

• If your roundtable proposal is chosen, you will be contacted by a volunteer committee member. Bringing handouts for the roundtable session is highly effective and recommended.
