Thank you for your interest in submitting a roundtable proposal for one of the AHP Regional conferences in the spring of 2012.
Deadline for proposals is Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
Roundtables are:
- An excellent way for a small group of members to have an in-depth discussion on a particular topic.
- An opportunity for you to take part in the educational mission of AHP.
- A forum for you to facilitate a discussion with conference attendees.
Roundtable format:
- Typically there are nine conference attendees and one facilitator per discussion group. Conference attendees sign up for roundtables at the conference.
- Forty-five to sixty minute discussion about a development-related topic.
- The facilitator opens the roundtable session with a short (5-minute) introduction to the topic and then leads the group in discussion.
- Roundtable topic ideas
Confirmation of roundtable:
- If your roundtable proposal is chosen, you will be contacted by a volunteer committee member. Bringing handouts for the roundtable session is highly effective and recommended.
Thank you for your interest. To submit a proposal, complete the online form or email Laura@ahp.org.
